Nepalese r now all over the world, i beleive that we could make a difference in the lives of many nepalese though we r not in nepal. how about every Nepali staying abroad sponsoring a poor child to go to school, it doesnt cost much, only $5-6 per month is enough to educate a child in a simple school. Lets stop wasting time by pointing fingers to others, instead think of what u could giv to ur country and to the people .This way millions of underprivileged children would have brighter future.

... yea. Maybe a proven non-profit organization or site. I know there's one called children.org where yu can sponsor a child for jst abt 24 bucks a month. And, you can pretty much keep track of how they are doing and all... I've been doing it for abt 7 mths or so now and its gr8. You actually get to write to them personally and, they'll also write you back (but, through the organization).

Too bad Nepal is not listed in there and i do wish tht they'll someday. I am sponsoring a Gujrati girl now, and i know ..i've been told ..there r thousands of needy kids in Nepal too and why instead I m looking after an Indian.  I believe, they r all jst kids in need, regardless what race.

I am glad you started this thread..bcos its very important. We easily spend 10-20 bucks on a movie or in a bar or whtsoever. Its so amazing that , that little smthing could make smbody's life back there, so much better.
