In the first-ever interaction with a select group of Nepali media at the Narayanhiti royal palace Thursday afternoon, His Majesty King Gyanendra said when we are fighting for democracy and against terrorism, Nepali people want to know what our friends are thinking. We want our friends to help us by word of mouth and by deed. If that is not the agenda they want to go along they should tell us what is their agenda, he said.

Now, clearly the message is some of our friends have decided to suspend the aid, that too military, and Nepali people want to know what is their message. ?Are they telling us that we should not fight against terrorism, that we should put our democracy into jeopardy?? His Majesty asked.

?When we have chosen to uphold democracy and fight against terrorism, why are they shying away from helping us? I can see one thing clearly emerging out of it. Our objectives are the same. We are going to meet somewhere. But we have chosen may be different paths in attaining that objective,? he added.

?We expect our friends to understand that we are moving in that path. We should not be surprised that some of our friends have expressed dissatisfaction with our move but some of our friends have welcomed it,? he added.

We will no more tolerate terrorism and we want that political parties too should come up with clear views on this issue, said His Majesty.

King Gyanendra's Justification & Clarification to International communities:
For any thoughtful person can read between (except those who are scared to death with the power of Army or who worship the king to siege the moment of power) and can see the king's clarification for India, Britain, USA and European communities as contradiction to his own action, the coup that suspended entire human rights of people of Nepal. There is no cause greater than violation of the human rights, suspension of civil liberty and fundamental rights of people for world communities to oppose in this twenty first century. For world community do not believe in solving civil war conflict with arms, but with political negotiations.

I do not think Nepali king understands the fundamentals of Democracy. He has to understand that Democracy cannot be made suitable to the soil of the county, to the trees and animals of the county or to the discriminated caste tradition, beliefs and faiths of the people. Rather Democracy is a process that transforms the state of human minds towards civil awareness, freedom, education, rule of law (not the rule of religion, god or Hindu superstitions) and leads to prosperity. If you trust Democracy you do not have to be afraid of its political leaders, parties and supporters.

It is obvious to all head of the nations, political leaders, diplomats, statesmen, international human rights? representatives, donors of Nepal from around the world that the king Gyanendra has problem with the institutions of Democracy more than with Maoists insurgency in Nepal. Simply if he had trust in Democracy and its institutions he could have been able to see that all the parliamentary parties and political leaders have problem with Maoists insurgency as his has. If he had democratic visions within himself he could have found the unity and trust with the political parties and their leaders. He actually hates Nepali political parties and therefore failed to establish trustworthy relationship with them. As a head of the state it is his responsibility to win the trust of the parties. But by crossing them with coup and absolute power his destiny leads somewhere else. It is unfortunate to Nepal and Nepali people.

As a matter of fact, the king is taking unnecessary advantages of Maoists situation to eliminate the multiparty system as it had run for 12 years. His ambition is to become like his father Mahendra and create his kind of multiparty system with the absolute power of the king. This is the primitive desire of the king and it proves he is as wild as the lion king of jungle of Africa.

What I would like to say to the king Gynandra that if you wish to be the absolute king like the lion king then you will have to make Nepal very rich in wealth either in gold or in petroleum (caste some this kind of magic on the land) like Saudi Arabia.
