तिनिहरु जो टिपिएसमा मात्रथिए कस्तो भैराहोला ! this could be a case of interest to Nepali as well because termination of tps to haiti would mean no chance to Nepal next year.

Maybe, maybe not, urban rural. Firstly, Haiti is on their 8th year, Nepal is just on 3rd. Haiti has ~50,000 TPS beneficiaries, Nepal has ~ 9,000. So can't say there will be same treatment. Maybe Nepal will get just one more extension, who knows. But the best thing to do is to have a plan in mind as to what to do in the worst case scenario. http://www.mmtimes.com/index.php/opinion/26024-nepal-failed-to-recover-after-quake.html The administration might extend Haiti's TPS after all it to gain some humanitarian points in the light of the other issues troubling them at the moment. But it will be interesting to see what they will do.

This will be indicative to what is to come in near future, but I would not call it definite in Nepal's situation. Keep in mind when Haiti comes to topic of any political conversation especially on the right it has left bad taste going all the way back to 2010 and controversy surrounding particular foundation and mishandling of the funds. Even after unfortunate earthquake Haiti got riddled with controversy after controversy including UN peacekeeping force, not the fault of Haitian people. I hope it gets extended.

WELL my point is condolences to the dead but the kind of destruction haiti felt was more than 10 times Nepal had in terms of casualties also recent Hurricane matthew and cholera outbreak indirectly related to the Nepal has created more destruction to the impoverished country and I personally think if Haiti is discontinued we only have a very small chance to be renewed next year.

True on the human casualty side in Haiti, which is sad. However, Nepal's structural damage isn't inferior by any means. A lot of people are living in tents. Winters and monsoons in tents is not easy. Lots of rebuilding yet to be done. But eventually, it's how the administration views it. Let's see.

I been saying this, the only reason Nepal tps will be gone is because of Syria. This admin is damn against giving any benefit to Syrians. They may willing to give Nepal tps any coming year without hesitant but if so they have to treat other countries equally too otherwise liberals will cry out discrimination ( while it is just stopping about terrorism in future) so either all gets it or none - to look cosmetically diplomatically good outside. And the chances seems eroding day by day ( that is why they are looking excuse already questioning over Haiti tps status due to crime committed by tps holders) because- soon they have to decide over Syrian tps too. Lets say this time Haiti gets it, the chance of no more countries would get tps any longer , is always high any time due to just Syria, no other country needs to watch.

DHS to end TPS for Haiti. Only extended for 6 months. Other countries could see a similar fate. Plan ahead in time would be my suggestion to all. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/social-issues/federal-officials-dhs-to-extend-temporary-protected-status-to-haitians/2017/05/22/d2796824-3ef5-11e7-8c25-44d09ff5a4a8_story.html

As i said earlier it could be indicative to the fate of all TPS holder, but not definitive, it goes country by country evaluation basis, strategic interest so & so forth, in the current geopolitical NEPAL is strategically important . But yes perpare for the worst, nothing is guaranteed. On top of that we all can unitedly contact to have our voice heard when it comes to the time of TPS renewal. Please save this web address. Haiti decision was in context of Syria. When time comes about Syria they won't have baggage of discrimination as often accused by liberals, so they r moving very carefully. First victim is Haiti , many more to come including may be nepal soon due to Syria alone, mark the words!!
