Come on, we shouldn't play long and high passes with Pak- they are taller and have longer feet than we do.

We scored at the very end (actually start of the extra minute) and tied the game. Bimal, a 16 years old, scored the tie goal. We got lucky.

Good coverage here:

I was wondering. Jumanu might be past his prime now.

So do I think of Biraj Maharjan. I think more U16 strikers should be in senior teams ( need some saviors from the junior team). There are no goal-makers in senior team.

I think both saukhala and jumano rai are both past the prime. Even i did not understand the tactics of mid field playing lots of air ball when clearly we are lacking in height department. All the best Nepali team. I hope they start with anil and khawas. Khawas can sometimes play selfish and he needs to pass more.

do what? stroke you?

Today's performance was kinda underwhelming. Our attacking midfielders really struggled to penetrate through Pakistan's defense but you've gotta give credit to them too. This Pakistan side is pretty solid.

We kept using nonsensical tactics throughout the game, as we've been doing since we got this coach - hoof it up, chest it down and then shoot or score off headers. It's a measure taken by teams like Stoke City. But to succeed, you need to have taller players. Our team consists of shorter players. We're better off playing ground passes and then working the ball around past the defenders.

The game against India is going to be huge now. Hopefully, we'll salvage a draw at least.

So far, Maldives is looking pretty solid. I think it is them against everybody else right now.

What a thriller it was.Kudos to Bimal Ghartimagar who exhume Nepal from a grave situation by scoring a goal at the final seconds of the game in his first cap from the National team. The teen who is a product of ANFA academy has proved his worth and shown all the fans that why he should deserve a place in Nepal's team at the age of 16.Pakistan does look a solid team to play against but a solo goal has helped Nepal to keep its own momentum alive.I have sensed Bharat Khawas playing a bit stingily who joined the team just 3 days before the Championship starts as he was training in Kharipati for his second lieutenant cadet badge---he has a bit more huger for fame than other players. But,with his vast experience in league games playing from Army, there is no better players than him to handle the attack at the moment.Jumanu rai on the other hand is a bonus.Although,Anil Gurung and Bharat Khawas  are the ones to open the game as a striker,Nepal surely can capitalize on  Jumanu rai's speed and agility on the final half of the game.I am waiting for Sagar thapa and Rohit Chand who still hasn't played upto their potential. The unity of Anil gurung,Bharat Khawas,Sagar Thapa and Rohit Chand alone can produce magical results for Nepal---if they combinedly sync with each other.
