But for some reason, when I tried to book ticket from JFK-KTM- JFk, the price is 2500 and not even close to 800
Did you guys try it?

looks like there is no option to fly out from other cities than SFO, JFK, IAH, or LAX

Did you even read the promotion dude? It says that the tickets are on sale from June 8-28 while the travel dates must be between July1-November 30.

You're right but that is because the promotional offers must not be available in the dates you picked. You might wanna try searching on different dates. Also, the seats and the offers are based on availability. This basically means that the sooner the seats get filled, the lower your chances of getting promotional fares.

I am not sure if it was a mistake or ignorance...Singapore Airlines think Kathmandu, Lahore and Karachi as Indian Cities.

Alterego-  be flexible about the travelling date, you will get a ticket for that price.

 

yah date need to be flexible. I just tried outbound flight on sep 1 and inbound on sep 18, I got price quote of 878.

I try to do that..and i did search for the whole range of 3 mth....but in vain.....did sb try to book from JKF to KTM and got the price of 800?

I looked at it the other day, the price mentioned above does not include the fees and taxes. With fees and taxes its like 1350 from San Francisco or 1450 if you want your frequent fliers Miles. But I still think its a good deal, from SF anyways.. don't know about the East though..

but this is not for kathmandu?????Am I missing anything here?

                   I understand that, all i was doing was kind of  correcting what americanboy is saying, so as not to give people false hopes. When i saw the fares in their website i also thought i would be flying for 879 dollars :) OH Well, I think 1350  is still a good deal, considering my friends paid like 1700 last year. 100 bucks more if you want to get frequent fliers miles. Thats a lot of miles, I think it would be worth it..
