I am working and paying regular past 12 +years and a US citizen . If i go Nepal at old and dont die by grace of god , can i eat social security from nepal after 62 years ? After I sell my land in nepal and collect big chunk of money (hopefully ) i plan not to work , i am actively looking seel my land but not getting a better deal . i think recovery phase takes around 2 year in nepal to get better price of land .

i havent thought of social security until now . how much do i get . even if i get 1500 dollar per month its enogh for me at my old age in nepal ?

Do you receive a social security statement? If you haven't already done so, You can also register online with ss administration for online access. They will use some form of verification to identify you.
Your ss statement or online info will tell you approximately how much you will make .....I believe they take your current earnings and estimate your monthly ss pmt. You can start receiving benefits as early as 62 but if you delay till 65 or 70 I believe you receive more.
And yes you can receive your benefits anywhere in the world (as long as US based banks send $$ to that country)
