Hi guys,
which one is better Roth IRA or IUL (Indexed Universal Life) ? I am having hard time comparing these two and which one is more beneficial in the long term. Few of my friends are approaching me with IUL and brainwashing me. Is it a good investment ? but i also read that IUL as an investment is illegal ?

Please share your ideas if you know anything.

Got a feeling you got approached by an agent associated with either Primerica or Premier Financial Alliance. Some cunning agent almost had me convinced to sign up for IUL under PFA while visiting VA late this fall.

From my understanding, the main objective of those agents is to have as many Nepalese sign up for Life-Term Insurance and/or other retirement funds. They work on commission basis (no shit, right?) and these days, there's a cut throat competition to sign up as many people as possible.

I'd rather go to investopedia or go through money.cnn.com and/or several other blogs and sites that offer some ideas. At this point of time, I'd definitely advise against signing up for anything long-term.

If your are able to put money into Roth IrA you should. To me it is a no brainer. You can simply open up a vanguard account and open it up. Once you max out on Roth IRA if you still think will have money left them I think you can think of other things. This is just my opinion.

I don't know much about IUL...but whenever some agents describe it, it sounds too good to be true...

Yes i have also seen many Nepalese involved with Premier Finance Alliance these days.
