Hey,
I wanted to get a very good calculator for my grad no matter the price, but couldn't decide
1.Is there any esp calculator for Accounting ? May be accounting majors or in path of being CPA can highlight this.
2. Is there any esp calculator for Finance ? may be finance major have better idea
3. Is there any calculator that supports both ?
4. Lastly, is the calculator you are recommending is a graphic one ?
Accounting and Finance major guys... are we allowed to take programmable calculator in exam ?
I really need some help !

TI - BAII plus. Most business programs only allow financial calculators or four function calculators. The BAII plus is a pretty good calculator. You can calculate the time value of money, cash flow analysis... etc... it is useful for both finance and accounting. It will cost you about 40 dollars including tax at a store like walmart. Hope this helps

You're welcome. Our school doesn't allow programmable calculators... most schools don't. The TI 89 is a good calculator but since accounting and finance students don't need graphing functionalities I think you should just stick with the BAII plus. I would suggest you check with your department to see if they allow the use of programmable calculators if you've already bought the TI89. -silly_me

Silly,
I was talking about the non programmable version one for TI-89, as I needed graphic calculator for my math classes.
