Is this anything new? We all knew it since ages. Any new minister says it in the
beginning and ends up doing nothing. We want to here what are his plans
to purge and rid of such irregularities? Mere pronouncement is no cure. We all know
doctors in the ministry make the largest mafia that will disable all
positive and curative actions.

Minister Pokhrel admits to rampant irregularities in Health Ministry

RAJBIRAJ, June 12 - Health Minister Giri Raj Mani Pokhrel on Tuesday admitted of widespread irregularities and corruption in the ministry's administration and in the promotion and transfer of its staffers.

Speaking after inspecting the Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj today, Minister Pokhrel commented that such widespread corruption in the health sector, which hold direct bearings to humanitarian service, was "shameful".
