My this comment is totally based on the style he ran dishanirdesh..... He has shit Ego problem... and he never let the peole to answer his questions fully.. he always cut them and ask different questions... he never let the speaker finished what she or he wanted to say.... He is pathetic journalists tilted to Nepali Congress. He is baised for sure. He is Big Asshole.

all i can say is he was a bhakta of NEPALI CONGRESS. and I still remember the interview[discussion] he did with late Madan Bhandari and KP Bhattarai.. The way Madan Bhandari thrashed him... I think that was the turning point on the election of KTM-1.........

And not to forget, his career should have come to deathbed after that fuc9k*ing interview with Amitabh Bhacchan.. haha... he was totally thrashed by Bachchan. Bachchan clearly told him Bijay was trying to gain cheap popularity.. ha ha.. Kya thiyo tyo interview.....

I like BK's performance--- as most Nepalese do. However, I do have NO comments on this irrelevant topic--- the quality of his performance.

BUT, the point here is:

The program was closed NOT because of BIJAY KUMAR'S bad performance, BUT because of his continuing efforts to invite people of different paces to have discussions on the recent developments--- mostly political. However, the quality of his program after FEB 1 had been drastically reduced. I wonder what kinds of BHAJAN he was supposed to sing.

I do not understand why we Nepalis have to be so critical of another Nepal who seem to be doing good in some means. If i were in BK's position, i would have an ego too because i would know that i am good.

I think people like him and his show is popular and he is original and asks questions that is real, not like some fake TV anchors who try to get immediate popularity. Also, he is not new in the field, he is popular because of his own hardwork and determination and i think he has also led some international projects.

I like his integrity as a journalist and his style and i think he is one of the best TV journalist and you all know it and that is why condemn him so much. If he had problem with Amitabh Bacchan then be it becasue i think he is a bigger ashhole.

Let's try to acknlwledge that what he is doing in Nepal Television was good and was meant for the normal people and i admire him for that. We all have personal issues to deal with.

What actually happened between him and Amitabh Bachhan? I had heard about the incident but no one actually knew the details.

Hurray, I had seen that interview and what actually happened was BK made a complete fool out of himself.

First, he seemed to be in awe of AB. Fair enough, but it certainly was painfully evident.

WHEREAS, he tried to gain cheap publicity, or so it appeared, and AB made it a point to let him know.

WHEREAS, instead of going for movie related questions (AB was there for some flim shoot, I 'think'), his questions were more political and did not tickle AB's funny bone. Let's say he did not have flair to do light hearted entertaining interview with a huge personality in entertainment industry.

WHEREAS, he seemed rather taken aback by AB's answers and did not have any back up trick up his sleeve so as to salvage some pride.

NOW THEREFORE, in consideration on above scenario, he lost huge credibility as a confident, capable TV journalist.

But really, that alone should Not determine his capability as a journalist. In the nation where "Naramro Nabola, Nasuna ra Nahera," attitude is prevalent, he at least, time and again appeared to "hit the nail on it's head". How many journo can actually ask point black question like him? But arrogance, it appears, he has aplenty. I concur with Prem dai that he rarely lets his subject answer his question and rejoices with "Kutil" smile, it seems. Bolnai Nadine ani ke ko antarbarta/interview. Hahaha.

Nonetheless, as O.K said, the focal point here is not his capability to run the show, but the ignorant attitude of our government run by a coterie of extreme rightist. If he refuses to dance to the tune of Gyane; that is his coice, who is to make his do it against hi will? Never mind that he a puppet of Kangressi chors.

Aba yeta na uti ta hunai paryo ni. Natra feri Bakhra ko khai ke bhancha ni.. tyastai huncha. But BK's arrogance, attitude or whatever rawaff he shows, there is one thing working for him and that is ability to ask the question like a common man wants to; 'hard and precise'. Hits you where it matters. Now if we talk about bias attitude and political leaning, that is up for debate. Rest assured, he ain't no sane. No one is.

So Bijaya Kumar is also a Nepali congress ko manche.? I always wondered why Bijay kumar acted so slavishly while interviewing Nepali Congress ko people - hazur yaso, hajur uso, boli is so soft, but with other people its not so soft. Moreover, he went to their residence to take their interview, while for others not connected to Nepali Congress they had to come to the Nepal TV studio to record their interview. But, still that's Bijaya kumar ko personal choice - NC ko soft corner cha bhandai ma program nain banda garnu ta sarai badmashi ho.
