I think I told in some another post that anyone visiting the country should postpone their plan for now. It's gonna be a huge shock and you got the huge shock of your life. I didn't mean anyone visiting the country should not go their out of fear but let the situation settle down first. Army rule is on it's way.

While I support the fair representation for all castes and creed, the incidents like the one described above is heinous and needs to be roundly scolded upon.  

I really wonder what is going to happen to Nepal.  Does Nepal's future hold mass killing similar to Rwanda or Bombay/Gujurat?  Is that how gaye-gujreko we are?  I hope not.  But I am very concerned.

Sajhtafan, I feel sorry for you. I also have many good friends from different caste. Not all people are bad.  Where was that happen? I am also going Nepal after 5 yrs. I would not go eastern part of Nepal.
How about Pokhara, is it safe to travel..I think there are many Tamuwan people..

सत्य यही हो। अनी यो सत्यबोध नभएको पनि हैन।
तरपनि केले लट्ठ्याइरहेको छ हामीलाई? किन हामी त्यो दुघर्टनाको बाटोमा दौडिरहेका छौं? के हाम्रो विवेकलेनै हामीलाई त्यत्तै जान आदेश दिएको हो त? कि कसैको जाल हो?
खै कसले खुट्टयाउने?
खै कसले ल्याउने होला होसमा? कसले च्यात्ते त्यो भ्रमको जालो?
केवल प्रश्नै मात्र आइरहेको छ मनमा। उत्तरको नामोनिसान छैन।

One of the biggest criticism the muslim community has faced is its lack of rejection of their violent radical brethren, the terrorists. In last few years, this has changed but not to a degree that the rest of the world likes to see.

I condemn any violence that segregates people. I am not going to come to street to protect the majority which can easily overcome the small violent outbursts from the minority. This is primarily because most other minority do not condone this; I have just too many friends from the minority who I know would never chose this path.

But what I from the "janajati" group is that if you don't agree with this, please speak up and say something against it. Don't sit quiet. I know you hate this violence as much as I do; let's go hand-in-hand and condemn this violence in harmony. They will not hear us, but they might hear you.
