 @samikshya i know nothing about nurshing career.. pharmacy ma ausadi bitaran garne ni doctor/ nurse nai jasto lagchha.. 
i know about electricity and military stuffs. all i can say is that you can still join navy and be  corpsman... so that we'll get stationed together.. gharjam pani garna sajilo huncha     .hahahahaha...

@ dude: Nas is my good fren.....Hmmm..Nyway tell me dude how is ur day today and thanks for your email ...it was informative...but u know. as u said..im communicating with many hospitals in TX, CA, MD...its really hard to find the hospitals with sponsorship...got some help in interent to find out the hospitals...im really working on it so that it won't be a  problem after Im done with the OPT. But who knows...Im lucky sometimes...so praying to God to find one. :)

@ helicoder: There is no doubt that  we are separate person. Nas lives in NY and I just moved to dallas. Hope u can differentiate between our writings. Nas writes much much better than me :) ha ha ha. and Nas doesn't need to know abt CA as well as he is already settled in NY. ...Just clarifying...

apparently the thread seems to be headed somewhere else than where it is meant to be, but as long as you are having fun that what all matters.

as far as i know, here are the things you wanna know .

Nursing once was a promising field but due to visa backlogs, its not promising anymore for international students, that applies to CA as well and SF is not a friendly place to new grads in Nursing.  I donot know whether you have a RN/BN , but here are the things u might wanna consider

1. Keep looking for jobs around the place where u graduated from, where your college is more appreciated, and where you have done your apprenticeship, that certainly is an advantage.

2. If not hospitals, then you can think of joining nursing homes, they alaways are in need of qualified professionals , that way at least you dont have to settle for something that u wont like.  even if you wanna go back to college after a while, u will have some fund to start with.  with a MSN degree, u can always have an option of teaching, and no need to worry about visa sponsorship as well.

3. If you have a BSN degree, then u can also do a search about H1B visas for Nurses, I have heard they have very few quotas, which gets fufliffed pretty quick, but u can try. And the rules might be different for non profit or charity hospitals.

4. if you are really hell bent on moving to SF , then u can also think of applying for asylum. nepaleese still have plenty of fodder to feed the authorities here, and i have seen lot of ppl doing it, and SF is a safe haven for those ppl nowadays. so if you feel that it wont hurt your ego, go for it.

5.  also the idea of getting marreid to someone with american passport  aint bad , u already have been proposed even with the thought of moving to SF, imagine what it would be like, if u really do move  , and around here, SAME SEX marriage is also allowed, if u dont like the "DUDE" .

anyway, plan carefully and do whatever works best for you...  good luck !
