Hello Sajha Friends,

I am planning to send an unlocked cell phone to my uncle in Nepal. My budget is around $150. I also surfed ebay and found brand new unlocked Tmobile HTC G1 for $160. For me the phone looks pretty good for that price range. I have no idea how this G1 is though. If you guys have any idea on which cell phone to buy for that price range I would really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks in Advance.

They were selling unlocked Sony xperia for $150 somewhere on Internet the other day.. It's a pretty good phone.. Scan dealstobuy.com and dealnews. Com, chances are it's still there

You can get iPhone 3g for 150, or some other too. Dont buy g1, its totally outdated phone. You better look at local craiglist, there are more options but lots of chances of screwing up so be carefull.

Fat beast - Thanks for the suggestion, but what model of Sony Xperia are you talking about? I saw three different models. Which are Sony Xperia X10 Mini, Sony Xperia X8 3G  and the other one is Sony Xperia X1 Wifi GPS. So I am really confused which one you're talking about.

amricane - Thanks a lot for your suggestion.  Are you sure Iphone 3g are sold for just $150? Only thing I saw is broken Iphone 3g are being sold at that price range, otherwise brand new are over $250 or so. Can you provide me with the link please? 

ebay is expensive so dont look in it. 2 week ago i bought mint condition 3gs for 180. keep on looking craiglist, all u need to do is find a deal.

its a bad deal. this phone has lots of problem . you can find it on 100 bucks. the problem of htc phone is that its screen will stop working in few month. htc evo is only phone without problem which is cdma version which cant be unlocked.

Thanks for the link fat beast. I think I'll have to end my search here and get this Xperia. Looks good to me too for that price. Thanks a lot Amricane. But I don't think all the HTC has screen problem I've been using HTC G2 and it doesn't have that problem at all. Thanks.
