Hi Sajha mates ! I have a couple of questions for the Photoshop expert. Presuming that you could help me to sort out the problem that I am facing. As photoshop is my unsupervised learning, I often make some horrible mistake which I can't able to repair after I did. 1. First, I mistakenly click somewhere, I do not know where but something has happened. For example, if I want a single line to draw, clicking line tool and try to drag on photos will yield a line, but unfortunately , it appears the arrow line. Could you please suggest, how to correct this problem and get a line instead of arrow head? 2. Second, I opened certain file (with TIFF extension) and then created layer and layer above it. I saved it without saving any layers specifically. My question to you is - how can I reach to the layer, if I have not saved it without layer but the picture as whole? Thank you for your valuable time and help.

What version it is. I remember there is some button on the left where you can simply click to reset all so all changes will be reset to default that means to its original form. I think it was version 7 but there might be different version specific tools so be specific about the version and try to search on help menu as well..

When using the line tool, you should see the custom shape tool. Click on the downward facing arrow besides the custom shape tool button and you should see the checkbox to enable/disable the arrow heads. If you save a file as tiff you will not have the layer information. Next time you use layers, save the file as Photoshop format first. If you need to output to jpg or tiff then use the photoshop file to export. Again, layers will not be saved in other formats except PSD photoshop format.

for your 1st question, 1) click on the line tool 2)At the top of the tool bar where there are different shapes click on the line tool just to make sure.. 3) then click the drop down button just to the right to 'custom shape tools' , called Geometry options..and unckeck 'stsrt' and 'end'... and thats it.... for second question.. as far as I know You can get back all your layers you worked on only when you saved it as .pdf. other wise you'll get the picture as a whole on the abckground. enjoy

PeaceSoul the version was the trial version given for 1 month time. I again have to download same soon as one month time is now almost going to expire :-) Thank you neo and Jaya Nepal for your expertise in the field. Now, I succeed to save it and get the layer back while saving in PSD as recommendation from Neo. I will also try in PDF as well later on . Hope to get your reply in future as well if I got stuck in photoshop again.
