Those who u r here in dallas working in gas station, going to college, working in other areas too, say something so we might be able to know how many nepali are here.

i know several of my friends are in dallas and one in Houston.

I was only there are a short time but my guess is there are about 300-400 neplis in the Dallas area

There are about 3000+ Nepaelse living in Great Dallas area.

there are more nepali in dallas tx than anywhere else in US

yeap, lots of nepali cowboys here..... and there is this college in Irving which is less like an American College and more like T.C of Nepal... jata heryo tetai nepali...

TX is cheap, can find job very easily, can get black girls for those who want paper marriage, place for so many illegals .........it is heaven in every sense, though bit more riskier than other states.

Texas is rich state.. Lots of work available and people make pretty good money. More illegals and legals. Illegals make more money than legally working professionals, like H1. It is true.

thread shoul've said 'nepalese in dallas, tx' not the other way round. I go to Dallas quite often because of my work, and know quite a few Nepalese in the area. From what I know, there is approx 4-5k Nepalese in the DFW (dallas- fortworth ) area.
Compared to NY (or even Boston and DC), there is not much to see in Big D, but this is a growing city with tremendous opportunity for Nepalese- it is very affordable, and is a great place to raise family because the standard of life is high compared to other cities, with the same level of income.
Nepalese down there are also very friendly, and there are tons of parties, probably more than anywhere else, since there is so little else to do.
Quite a few Nepalese have settled down and are doing very well there, and I should also say I have seen some of the prettiest Nepalese girls in Dallas.
