Residents of Lazimpat, two sisters Namita and Sunita were admitted to College following the results of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) Examinations, 1981. Next year, they went on a tour to Pokhara. After a few days in Pokhara, the two sisters were raped and murdered by highly privileged (Shah and Rana)family. Their dead-body were found at the bank of the Seti River.

That was a big news those days. Today, we are used to news of unlimited killings and rapes. These days, gangs of killers are trying to impress ordinary people by killing as many people as possible in the cruelest possible ways.

I was a student in P. N. Campus then. Many - in fact, all student unions - took to the streets in protest and to demand bring culprits to account. The culprits were members of the Royal family but I don't know whether the justice was done! I believe, not.

way i heard.. CULPRITS WERE BROTHERS of LATE QUEEN AISWARYA. [ i hope everybody knows late QUEEN AISWARYA and PRESENT QUEEN KOMAL are sisters].

way I heard neither late King Birendra or present King G. or Late Prince Dhirendra were involved.

King Birendra was more active during his father's rule than during his own. I admire for what he did for the education esp. in POKHARA by est. MULTI PURPOSE HIGH SCHOOL. first of its kind emphasizing VOCATIONAL ed....

anyway just my thought..
as always.... what do i know?
