Caption: What is Lord Rama to do? He sends his yellow army of monkeys (with tails, see?) to fight Ravana's red army. Let somebody else do fight your dirty war...

Lord Rama is reunited with long-lost wife Sita (standing in the foreground) while the vanquished Ravana (standing in red garbs in the background) looks on...I think Ravana is spared in this reinterpretation of the Ramayana. And the couple live happily ever after...

What a great discovery these photos are!
My husband and have the pleasure of raising two little Nepalis, Pramila 8, is very interested in stories and dancing that she remembers from Nepal, now I'll have something new to show her after school today ( sano Santosh is almost three- I don't know if it'll mean as much to him ;-)

Hey Jessica,
Just wanted to tell you that, what you and your husband are doing for these young kids from nepal are truely great. More people like you are needed for countries like nepal. Just wanted to thank you as a nepali for giving them wonderful opportunity to be someone in their life and also giving them the love as parents.
Keep up the good work. I hope more kids would be as lucky as your Pramila and Santosh. Now they are in a place where they can be what they want to, instead of being in a place where they can only cerebrate what they could have become.
In peace,
IndisGuise:)

Yeah Bhanja... Rasuwa district is in Nepal. It lies at the cenral region of Nepal and North of Kathmandu. If I am not mistaken it has one of the popular trekking routes to Lantang. Helambu, popular for its apples, lies in this district too.

Jessica... that's a wonderful thing that your family is doing for Pramila and Santosh. I am involved in one of the organizations that manage sponsership-based program. Not long ago the donors terminated the program due to some policy issues. Now more than 2,000 kids are back to stone crushing. Therefore a little effort on our parts mean a lot.

What your family is doing is really admirable. Thank you.
