I strongly condemn the killing of Kumar Ghainte in today's dramatic encounter. What message the home ministry want to deliver to the people through this unnecessary killing in the day light in a residential area? Does this encounter indicate at souring relationship between Cong n Uml at a very difficult stage of constitution making? Has the encounter been staged in a residential area to terrorize the common people? Is it committed by a frustrated police force n state? I Just listened to the agitated , shrilling, loud n abusive voices of the police personnel recorded during the encounter at the spot. Will the voices or sound will not keep haunting me or all others who have heard this forever? I am feeling ashamed today to be in a brutal society n i am feeling freezed too. I love the country Nepal but I must say , I must hate the present state. Perhaps ,there is a very thin line that divides criminals, terrorists and politicians n it is becoming obvious in today's Nepal.

As a simple nepali with not any political affiliation, i salute Nepal Police for this encounter and last years Chari too.

What's disturbing is that multiple times this guy was arrested, he was released almost immediately. Arresting is easy, keeping them locked up is not. There has to be more transparency on how criminals get released.

My guess here is that Ghaite did something wrong to a rival gang that was supported by another big leader (Home minister?).

Good for Chakre Milan and Manange. If I was in Nepal I would have been the Don too. Ghaite Dai was really a brave crazy dude. He has shooting with police so many times. Even Chakre feared him no matter one time he was Chakre's right hand.
