I agree with KKS, DC is going to go all the way... they are just too strong and experienced to have any hiccups to their ultimate road to yet another ANA Chamionship!!!

My pick is Phoenix all the way. I don't think there is anyone that can stop Saurav. They need atleast 2 people just to contain him. Forget about stopping the monster. Bigballer, Dallas won 2 championship because of Saurav. How many times have Dallas made it to the finals without Saurav? DC will beat Dallas (without Saurav) any day. I bet if Dallas and Phoenix play, Saurav will score more than 1/2 of what the entire Dallas team scores. Unless the new teams are good, it is going to be Phoenix. From past experiences I have felt that NY is average and Denver is pathetic. Phoenix and DC or 1 of the new teams in Finals, with Phoenix winning it all.

Plus I heard that Saurave scored on Mike Bibby once, when he was a freshman and Bibby a senior in high school. I got this news from 1 of my friends that went to the same school with them.

Emnitrader, how can you say that... I think you need to realize that basketball is a team sport... I dont know how the absence/presence of one player can make much of a difference. I think you over estimate the Phoenix team.... Dallas is a lot more than just one guy, I think they will do really well. Furthermore, New York is more than average. They have made it to the semis each of the past 2 years. I think if any team can upset the big favorites like Dallas and DC, it will be New York. Phoenix, on the other hand, really does not have a chance. I dont think they can play 1 against a team of 5.

Well, sorry for the intrusion, but I have to say Dallas did a great job in stopping Saurav last year.. that is not a typo.. they never gave him the ball, instead they were shooting 3's all day long. I think last year, more than DC's defense, it was Dallas's ridiculous offensive strategy that did the trick... DC is a great team, but their defense is not that strong, they could nt even contain that one guy from an average New York team. I mean, had Saurav gotten the ball, imagine what he would have done... Even then, DC would still win because they are a great team and they would find a way to counter Saurav's offensive dominance.

Bigballer: I don't think Saurav played for Dallas last year. He played for Phoenix and they beat Dallas in semi-finals. Phoenix did not even have any good subs last year. The starting 5 played almost the whole game. It is hard to win that way. I guess we'll find out in few weeks.

DC has a real team, full of stars that play very well together. In addition, they have that one star that shines the brightest, his name is Ninja...

From the way you guys are talking, saurav seems to be the best player in this ANA. Unfortunately, I dont hear about you guys talking about the true winners like Ritesh, Prakash, Mahip and the one and only Ninja from DC. Also, this other player from Dallas, he has big eyes, he s really good too... and then there is this short guy from Dallas, I think he had "Shorty" written on the back of his jersey. Man, that guy can shoot lights out... Who do you think would be in the all ANA starting five?

Bigballer: Yeah, I forgot about the NY ANA. I wasn't there. I was thinking about the Phoenix ANA. I was in Denver and Dallas and both those time dallas won. It seems like there are a few good teams this year. I am not going to be there but the games should be intersting. Hope they organize it better than they did in Dallas.

Thanks for the info BigBaller... Here is my starting five: PG: Ninja - the best player in all of ANA SG: Saurav - MDP SF: Uddav PF:#50 from Dallas - dont know his name, he looks like saurav C: the big guy from Dallas Damn, looks like Dallas has a monopoly over my starting five. No wonder they won 2 championships in the past 3 years.
