"Talking to media persons in Dhangadhi today, Prachanda said that the beating up of a businessman by Maoist cadres had been blown out of proportions." He also slammed one who runs hotel business by saying hoteliers are. "feudalistic and disgraceful. He also alleged business enterprenuers as royalist who are responsible for current shutdown of business. Did he mean beating of a businessman, extortion is very normal and it should not be taken seriously.

Now anyone who refuses to cooperate or lick his boots will be considered Royalists and the terrorists can have their ways with them......................this just shows how much of a democratic country Nepal is going to be .....................If the maoist take controll and has power to change the course of Nepali lives.....they will make Nepal a living hell full of puppets or if you dissagree.........you are dead.......it will be that simple....almost like in North Korea......where your whole family.....I mean even your cousins.......all your blood relatives will be punished for a crime one member of the family commits against the ruling republic leaders......................sad thing is that...Most of us who see this comming fall in the minority count......(educated enough) the majority of Nepal....(uneducated, brainwashed people ) still support these criminals. and the rest are forced with gunpoint to support or be labelled a royalist and be humiliated.

Oh yeah...its the Royalists....NICE TRY .......let's see how long can you milk this so-called "Blame the Royalist" cow??

Terrorist Prachanda: Slamming hoteliers as "feudalistic and disgraceful", he said that beating up anyone was "against his party’s policies" adding that his party cadres had already apologized for the act. Does he think we are all stupid and have very very short term memory or what? He thinks he can beat up (or even kill) anyone and then say sorry, and everything will be fine. What a disgrace.

I view this situation totally different. All these protests and rallies for me is a shame. Yes, whatever Maoists or whoever did this is unacceptable, but what happened to all the other ordinary people who were murdered by the same people, where are all the protests and rallies and a demand for safety. When all those kids, fathers, mothers, teachers were murdered nobody were under pressure to bring those culprits out to justice and now when one businessman is blackeyed all the ministers to PM to Maoists are under pressure to find the culprits. What a shame, I again have come to conclusion that money talks and is talking only louder. Only persons with money demands safety and our government is ready to provide them. What happened to ordinary people, poor peasents, women and children? ....... and Jusice for all? bulls@#t that blind b@t#th don't do sh#t for us. The reason maoists are in control here today is because of the highest proportion of poor people. Now those poor people also wants a piece of the pie because nobody cares about them, no food, no shelter, and security and this is root of all evil. Nobody is in control at the government if this continues worst is yet to come. There is a saying somewhere in Vagvad Geeta that "sometimes to do good you need to engage in evil.

Why you guys have forgotten the fact that these top-class businessmen were providing Chandaa to all political parties and maoists in the past. If you dig out some past events, you can find out several episodes of tussle between maoists versus pabson, big industry-houses and many other business groups, which were settled by transaction of huge donations under their table. Nobody wanted to disclose how much they paid nor they disclosed the condition of their agreement. That was the case when the country had declared maoist as a terrorist group. Similarly other political groups also collected a lot of donations under numouros title, including election campaign, conventions, meetings, protest programs etc. The business community not only considered such unlawful and non-transparent donation either as their investment for future benefit or as their token of appreciation for running business smooth but also competed among themselves to become larger doner. In other words, the business community paid dummy tax to shadow powers in jungles and political power houses but did never want to come under a transparent tax-policy of then government. Yes, I don't support maoist attrocities, and forceful extortion of donation. Having said that I must condemn what maoist had done to Hari Shrestha and other business leaders elsewhere in the country. Hari's case is just a latest one that surfaced on news media. Many other like Binod chaudhary, might be paying these blackmailers in regular basis. Weren't these moron businessmen feeding snakes for years and making them powerful? Business community in Nepal has been responsible to make Nepal worse by not paying tax properly, by not practicing healthy marketting strategies and by extortion of public resources. They do not have moral ground to advocate for a good system as they have always preached system by practicing bribery. Yes, their mercy on maoist and and political groups has now turned out to be their own curse because the demand is grown beyond their expectation. So, these business community is standing against the maoist when maoists are facing troubles to fix other issues. To tell you the truth, I was more shocked when I knew Mukti sir was chopped, when I heard a journalist was beheaded, when I saw photographs of ambushed public vehicle and many other events where innocents, I mean real and truely innocents, were made victim of their insane movement for no good reason. I don't say I ignore this Hari's case, but this sort of business people are in trouble because of their own roles (may be minor but significant) in the past that served as coramine to this sucking parasites.

CHANA TARKARI, THE QUESTION YOU SHOULD BE ASKING IS NOT WHETHER THESE BUSINESS PAID OR NOT ? or RATHE UNDER WHAT PRETENSES DID THEY PAY THEM ? WERE THEY THREATNED ? THEN YOU WILL GET YOUR ANSWER. MAO'S HAVE ALWAYS TRIED TO INTIMIDATE WHOEVER TRIED TO STAND IN THEIR WAY TO ULTIMATE POWER "THE KURSII". THE BUSINESSMEN ARE THE VICTIMS HERE, YETA GAYE PANI CHANDA YLAUU, UNTA GAYE TAX TIRAA, YETAA SAAAMAAAN BHANSAAR BATA CHUTAUTA GHUUS KWAUU. HE HE C'MON WE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.

Chana Tarkari, this is yet another example of the Maoist rhetoric that Ashu pointed out in another thread. You are trying to make the business community look bad so that in some way the Maoist extortion, beatings, are validated? The message that you are trying to send is not valid in the present context when a group of Maoist Members have attacked a common citizen brutally for not paying up thier extortion demands.
