Former Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala has split with businessman hubby Samrat Dahal after two years of marriage. The 41-year-old was going through a turbulent marriage, which was made apparent by her posts on social networking sites. According to sources, the actress is now staying in Mumbai with a friend, who confirmed that she is quite relieved and happy after it’s over.

 

Another friend of the actress revealed that although her marriage to Dahal has failed, she still goes to Nepal as her family is living there.

The friend insisted that although Koirala tried hard to save her marriage, the differences only deepened with time.

The friend, however, added that the pair has taken the split on their stride.

I am against the mentality of "Khuching", that is my personal choice. For me, that means laughing at others tears, which I can never do.

Again I disagree with your saying 25 "mistakes". Why do you call or who you are to call others affairs mistakes? They may or may not consider these as mistakes, and they may or may not have had regret for these mistakes.

She's a public figure and gorgeous and a desirable woman. I mean to say she's exceptional.

For me marriage means being able to get along and fulfill each other's lives; it won't be dictated by the number of previous affairs. The herd mentality here was to denigrate Manisha, that's why I wrote strongly against these people. You and I are discussing and have own opinions. You may sympathize with Samrat, and I may do so with Manisha.

It applies to both men and women. The ordinary women ( non public figures) who get involved with Bhuban KC deserve the same "gossip" and if the relationship goes sour,"the khuchiing" goes to the woman.

I want to laugh hard at this but i respect your opinion. I do not know how people find some fat almost 50 year old woman apealing but i understand that we all have different tastes.

Not sure why you are forcing me on sympathizing the guy but i really do not care. As for Manisha, i really do not care about Bollywood products, they do not apeal me and i am neither concerned or hurt by their actions. 

On the serious note: my opinion on Manisha is that she is not a BUHARI material, not someone you would keep in a joint family with a SASU and SASURA with Nepali culture and that is what probably caused the relationship failure. I am not taking anyone;s side. When you see two monkeys fighting you can't really take a side, afterall they are both monkeys and whose fault it was is quite irrelevant.

I am totally baffled at people's insensitivity towards a lady .It's  better to be divorced than be in a bad marriage.
I saw some other indian websites and the people commenting there were mostly saying " hope she is doing well" or "wish her all the luck for future' or sth good.
But here our own so called daju bhai are trying to tag her as "WHORE". 

She is successfull and rich .She has more money than u can ever imagine . Thus u guys seem jealous. 
It is not ur business to count how many people she slept with.
Just count how many people u have slept with and the person u have slept with must have slept with others too.  If the answer is non then u seriously need to get laid. Otherwise stay away from discussing other people's private life.

I am not defending either Manisha or Samrat.  I don't think anybody here or anywhere knows why their marriage failed.  Non of my business and not even my interest.

But what disgusts me is some here seem to have severe Talibanistic misogynist inclination.  These people want doormat of a wife, not a life partner with independent thoughts.  And I thought Nepalis, especially those who are getting their education here in the US of A, are more enlightened.

It is well known  that Manisha Koirala is openly supporting monarchy thesedays. Paras used to be a big fan of Manisha and it's possible there is something going on between them.

If you compare Manisha Koirala to your own mother i think this is the end of our debate. I would like to apologize to you for holding this debate with you. I think being Manisha Koirala's son is way tougher than being Manisha herself.

You still have not clarified your point. Are you refereing to Manisha Koirala as Half the populations (all women in Nepal) including our mothers?

Have you asked your mother if she likes to be compared with Manisha? I am not attacking you, i am just way too curious now. Just neeed to know what kind of liberal ideal requires to accept Manisha as the representation of Nepali women including our mothers.

I really admire your intelligence, Mr. intelligent guy. However, what I wanted to know was, is he some sort of high profile guy from Nepal or related to any big time politicians. And, I knew he was married to Manisha Koirala. I was just curious that is he the same guy who went to UTA at Arlington, Texas, a while back.
