hello all,
i need some suggestion for what to do next. i recently completed my MBA in management. I am currently on OPT. i am thinking about joining consultancy to get training on BA or QA. Few consultancies that i spoke to claim that they provide free training and process H1 and GC also. They say graduate students fall under EB2 category and the processing would be faster. How hard is the training and how much is salary for BA/QA?Does any of us have experience of doing such process. I am relatively new to USA, just two years. Any input will be highly appreciated. thank you.

It depends on where you located. If you have srtong communicaton and good convincing skills then go for BA otheherwise QA
. Both dont need any programming and IT back ground but it will be nice to have.Training for both BA/QA are not so hard but you got
to learn many things. You have Business Mangagement background so BA will be good for you , specially in BA businness requirements should be analysis so your knowledge will help you. Job wise QA has more demanding than BA , because in every company no.of QA people are more than BA..Entry level of QA/BA starts from around $25 to $30/hr but it depends consultancy to counultancey. IF you are lucky enough and got a permanent position then salary will be around 60k .There are some good cosnst,
in Virginaia and NJ area, same way if you are in Texas there are couple of good const. in Dallas area. but my suggestion is do enough
research before you choose any const. and on class trainging will be more effective than online... wish you have goodluck.

If you are intrerested in SAP there is a deshi const. in Chicago , I- SAPience . Couple of my friends had landed to job thru there.
BUt keep in mind SAP really takes long time to learn and its complicated but you can start to learn from now grabbng some books and online materials so it will be easy for you on training. You may find many other const. in diff. places just keep doing some research.

Gone12,
Thanks for your valuable input. I certainly appreciate that. U seems like you have preety good idea about SAP. Im preety new on this field. Im in dilemma right now whether i should go for QA/BA or for SAP? Based on your knowledge what would you recommend for a person who did his MBA in management information system(PS: Dont have no programming background). Would it be a good idea to get trained for QA/BA or SAP?
Thanks again.
