Declaration of secular state most important decision: Prachanda
Kathmandu, 30 May; Maoist Chairman Prachanda said the parliament declaration of Nepal as a secular state was the most important decision.

"This was a very important decision. Possibly, this was the biggest decision of parliament the other day. Other decisions were only superficial that will not make much difference," Prachanda told Annapurna Post in reply to a question on protests against the declaration of a secular state.

"Some protests are being seen. This is a conspiracy. But I feel the bubble with burst, " Prachanda added.

Prachanda said on-going government Maoist talks will fail only if foreigners attempt to capture Nepal.

"That situation will come only if foreigners attempt to capture Nepal. Otherwise, the dialogue will move towards an outlet," he said in reply to a question whether talks will fail.

The Maoist chief said summit talks between him and Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala won't be held until top Maoist leaders are released, some of them from Indian jails.

" Talks are also continuing on the release of senior leaders Indian jails. Probably, in a day or two the process will be completed.

" Summit talks will not be held until they are released," Prachanda said.

It is not royalist news media but nationalist media operated on low budget but the news is authentic. The purpose of them opening the media was to "let Nepal be Nepal".

I know a journalist who works for that and I know about them. One should have respect for such people before saying anything. Keep that in mind peaceinnepal !
