How long does it take for the Travel Document to get approved? Does it come on EAD or separately on a piece of paper??

Hi Nepalipeople19 - I have a AP which is set to expire on June 24. Is it also considered as TPS documents which will be auto extended.
I spoke to USCIS today and they said they do not have advance parole for Nepal after June 24th. I did not ask if we can apply for AP during auto extention period. Anyone have any idea.

Also i just extended my DL with just Federal notice. We do not need to order new EAD and spend $410 + mail fee.

Any ideas on this.

What? So even if we apply for Advance parole now does that mean we will get the date of June 24th?

According to USCIS website, AP can be given to those who have TPS. I was informed by USCIS when i called that they do not have any information regarding AP in their extention Federal notice. I am also still not clear on this.

I am looking for answer as well.

But since our TPS is extended automatically doesn't it mean we qualify for AP as well? Probably they didn't add that on their Federal Notice because TPS and EAD are considered important.

I think i will wait till june before I apply for Advance Parole.

I just did some research and found this:

Can I travel on advance parole?

Traveling on advance parole has many potential benefits and few potential risks. Applicants seeking to travel on advance parole should consult with an attorney or OLAP (Office of Legal Access Programs) accredited representative before doing so.

For TPS holders affected by the Ramos v. Nielsen court order stopping TPS terminations (El Salvador, Nicaragua, Haiti, Sudan), you may continue to request advance parole for travel abroad so long as the court injunction remains.

@Snepali12 - I did it from TX.

Few questions after reviewing link -
1. Will current AP will be auto extend too like EAD ?
2. Any idea if we can travel with June 24th expiration AP with federal notice.

It seems like we can apply to AP anytime. But just a question about current AP.

I think the AP you have with June 24 will let you enter before that date. You will still have to apply for AP and travel with the approved one.
