some one broke into my friends car and stole every document. went to police but don't give much preferences.



any suggestion what should he do ??????

who keeps their passport and green card in the car?

1) Green Card can be replaced. File form I-90 to replace the green card. Filing fee might be wived since it was stolen.
2) SSN can be re-aplied at the nearest DMV office.
3) For passport, I recommend your friend to visit the webpage of Nepal Embassy.

@ujl, DMV doesn't issue original or replacement social security card. You have to go through the SSA office.

Now he should be worry about his Identity Theft because his Date of Birth is on PP and thief got SS card too. A lot new credit card will be issued under his name.
Report it , they will block for 90 days and will be extended.
